In bad weather:

Hanover Arts and Activities Center, Indoors

We prefer to hold Bluemont concerts outside if possible. Summer weather can change quickly and is sometimes hard to predict. Always check the outdoor concert site first; if the concert has moved, proceed to the nearby indoor site. Decision to move indoors will be posted at site and broadcast over local radio stations.

Welcome to Town of Ashland and Hanover County

Historic Town of Ashland and Hanover County have many quaint and interesting places to visit. A walk down our lovely sidewalks past picturesque old commercial buildings and beautifully maintained homes reminds us of the rich traditions of our past.

There are wonderful restaurants, country inns, bed and breakfasts, and shops of all kinds and a wealth of history in both the Town of Ashland and Hanover County. Among Ashland's attractions is the Hanover Arts and Activities Center, host of the Ashland Bluemont Concerts. The Center, an antebellum structure built in 1859, is a nonprofit organization that sponsors many community events, offers art and music lessons and houses a Montessori preschool; the facility is often rented by wedding and reception parties as well.
