 Recently honored at the Washington Area Music Awards as 2006 “New Artist of the Year,” One Horse Town delivers a vast array of harmony singing, cowboy gospel wailing, boot stomping, alt-country/Americana, roots rocking originals, and no shortage of family fun.
Co-singer/songwriters Janet Emma Garbe and Julia Kasdorf came together in May of 2000 to discover they had a knack for harmony singing and alternately penning and arranging songs together. Rounded out by pedal steel man Lynn Kasdorf, lead guitarist Stuart Martin, bassist Kip Martin, and drummer James Hayden, One Horse Town kicks up the dust in towns around Virginia, Maryland and DC on a regular basis.
