 Simply legendary in the world of bluegrass, the Country Gentlemen have been picking with the best of them since their inception on July 4th 1957. Recognized five times as the Bluegrass Band of the Year by the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America, and inducted into the Bluegrass Hall of Honor and the Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame, Charlie Waller and The Country Gentlemen delighted audiences with Waller’s unforgettable vocals and the band’s virtuoso instrumentals.
Since his father's passing in 2004, Randy Waller and the reformed Country Gentlemen have been performing shows throughout the United States, Canada, and throughout Europe. Randy Waller, along with Mark Delaney, David Kirk, and Gary Creed, are proving themselves worthy to carry on the great music from the legendary Country Gentlemen that Charlie Waller formed 50 years ago.
