Born in 1947, Roy Carrier is one of Louisiana's great living zydeco-blues performers. He began playing music at age six, forming the Night Rockers by age fourteen. After losing the use of his right index finger in a farm accident, Carrier developed a unique technique of "crossing" chords on accordian, something other musicians have rarely attempted.
In 1987, Carrier took his band on the road and has never looked back. Roy Carrier and The Night Rockers continue to electrify audiences throughout the world, and have them dancing at every performance.
